Days like this make me wonder what I did in my previous life* to have been presented with such a fortuitous position at work. Nothing will ever come close to my job in New York, but this cuts the cake pretty damn close. Writing, for the most part has been put on the back burner (hence the return of this blog), but on a major plus side, I get to spend my days tinkering on clients’ websites ranging from simple updates “(I need a new blog post/picture/icon.”) to complete site makeovers and then I get to strategize online marketing efforts.
I love it. I love it a lot.
However, in a couple of weeks, I will be scaling back at work to intern for a major online marketing content agency assisting in their social media marketing efforts. My impending supervisor told me that I will have the opportunity to move around departments… and do you know what this means? THERE’S a *#$@*$*$ food blog that I need to get my hands on. This means eating food, writing about food, and schmoozing with like-minded foodies.
Yes. Just, yes.
*I was a part-time coffee shop owner in the countryside of Ireland with a cottage and a goat and chicken cause Isa gotsta have my eggs and milk.
